When you buy any jewellery from Ethica Diamonds, your items will arrive in our signature packaging, lovingly gift-wrapped by hand. Your jewellery will be nestled in a luxurious jewellery box, wrapped with crisp tissue paper.
For added protection and security, this is sent to you in an outer box, so that no-one could guess the contents. With every piece of jewellery, we will enclose your IQ Diamond provenance, the GRI Certification. Also in this outer box will be your receipt, so that it can be hidden if the jewellery is a gift or a surprise proposal.
Delivery is free within the UK, and we will arrange delivery to your door, or to another address upon request with appropriate guarantees for your security.

HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU DELIVER BY A SPECIFIC DATE?
Some of the more complex designs, and especially bespoke rings, take a little longer to create, as every item of our jewellery is handmade and hand finished in the UK, not mass produced. Please ask, giving the product code and specifications, and we will be able to give you an estimate. We can provide Priority Delivery for an extra charge, if required, and there is an option to add this to your order on every product page. We will need to know at the time the order is placed, if you would like Priority Delivery. This will cut the waiting time from 16 working days to 11 working days.
If you are discussing a bespoke or one-off item with us, these will usually take at least 5 weeks, depending on the length of discussion required to arrive at your perfect design, and the complexity of your final piece.
For all orders, we will contact you if there are any delays or hiccups. Please ensure that we have an email address and mobile phone number so that we can contact you.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER?
First, we will email you a confirmation of your order, and an estimated delivery date. If you place your order through our website, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. You will receive another email from us the day before your order is posted with your tracking details. This email may come earlier than the estimated due date or it may come later. We will call you before we post it if the date is different than the estimated date on this email to check if you are okay to receive it the following day.
The estimated delivery date may be subject to change closer to the dispatch date. If there are any changes to the dispatch date, we will aim to notify you of this in good time. Should you need to book time off work in order to sign for your package, kindly drop us an email beforehand and we can check the status of your order and whether or not it is still due to be dispatched on the anticipated date.
HOW DOES THE PARCEL ARRIVE?
Insured delivery is included for FREE on all UK orders.
Your order will arrive in a discrete non-branded bag and all of our parcels are double boxed for protection in sturdy cardboard outer packaging, so that it is not obvious that there is an item of jewellery inside, for added security and no risk of spoiling the surprise!
UK and Northern Ireland deliveries are delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is a signed-for service. Delivery times are restricted to standard Royal Mail delivery schedules, so will not include weekends and bank holidays.
It is important that there is someone present to receive the parcel, and sign for it, when it arrives. If someone other than you or your authorised representative signs for the delivery at the address you have given us, Ethica Diamonds cannot be held responsible.
CAN YOU DELIVER TO AN ALTERNATIVE ADDRESS? I WANT TO KEEP THIS A SECRET!
Yes, we can. When you complete your order form, our website will initially ask for the billing address for your payment card. Further on through the process, you will be able to specify a different shipping address, if required.
When you place your order, if it is to be a secret, please let us know which is your preferred means of communication (phone, mobile, email), to ensure that it remains un-discovered. We never leave answerphone messages unless you have given us prior authorisation, for secrecy, and also for security reasons.
WHEN WILL MY DELIVERY REACH ME?
We aim to deliver your jewellery (excluding special orders, or bespoke pieces) around 16 working days from the date when your order is placed. This excludes weekends and bank holidays.
If you choose to pay for Priority Delivery, we aim to deliver around 11 working days from the time you place your order.
Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantees next working day delivery before 13:00. We dispatch items every Monday and Thursday (or the following day, if there are bank holidays), unless the order has been requested to arrive on a specific date. If this is the case, it will be speeded through, or held back, as required.
You will receive an email confirming dispatch, and including your tracking number, so that you can ensure that someone is available to receive the package when it arrives. Once the delivery has been signed for, Ethica Diamonds is no longer responsible for the package.
WHERE CAN YOU DELIVER?
We are pleased to offer a delivery service to anywhere in the world, and will ship outside the UK using a fully insured courier. We can also send to BFPO, if you need us to – our jewellery generally comes in under the 2kg weight limit!
You should note that we do not take responsibility for any duties, taxes or surcharges applied by a non-UK country, and we recommend that you check, prior to placing your order.
Postage for overseas orders will be calculated by us, and charged extra to the order. An extra 3-5 days should be included in the order time, so >19 working days, rather than 16, and >14 working days, rather than 11 for priority delivery.
Customers resident in the Channel Islands are exempt from VAT, therefore please contact us, if this applies to you, and we will adjust the price of your order accordingly.
