We are pioneers in ethical mined-diamond alternatives, and one of the first companies in the UK to offer such. That’s why we only sell lab grown diamonds, certified carbon neutral and grown using 100% renewable energy, or Ethica Diamonds – both fine ethical mined-diamond alternatives. Read more about our lab-grown diamonds here.
Ethica Diamonds are lab grown stones which are very close in structure, composition and hardness to diamond, offering the same toughness and longevity as mined or lab grown diamonds.
They radiate the same sparkle and brilliance as the finest diamonds and are made to last forever, to be passed on through the generations.
They are grown under strict conditions, then cut by hand and fully faceted to exact diamond proportions, giving each stone incredible depth and sparkle, and independently certified by the GRI.
Furthermore, the pricing is set according to manufacturing and retail costs, not to the artificially fixed diamond pricing structure. Therefore, the retail price of Ethica Diamonds is significantly lower than mined diamonds of the equivalent grade, making them exceptional value and a positively brilliant alternative to mined diamonds.
And most importantly, negligible greenhouse emissions, water or air pollution, no devastated ecosystems, hazardous chemicals, radiation or other environmentally dangerous substances or processes results from the creation of Ethica Diamonds.
Ethica Diamonds are a vote for what you believe in and our mission is to develop a 100% sustainable jewellery brand.
We hope you will join us.

Every Ethica Diamond is certified independently by The Global Gemological Research Institute, a grading authority using international standards. Each stone is laser marked for identification and verification purposes, and the certificates provided by the GRI are also a trusted means of insuring any piece of our jewellery, in the same way as diamond jewellery.
OUR LIFETIME GUARANTEE
Ethica Diamonds are held to the highest standards before leaving the laboratory. However, if something were to happen to your stone, you’re completely covered with our Lifetime Guarantee.*
The guarantee covers any manufacturer defects, as seen by the naked eye, for the life of the Ethica Diamond in ordinary conditions.
OUR ASSURANCE POLICY
We offer you cover for unintentional damage or accidents for unfortunate situations where your Ethica Diamond is not covered under the Lifetime Guarantee. We will offer you a replacement for lost or damaged stones discounted from the retail cost. *
We will carry out all necessary repairs to your jewellery including polishing and professional cleaning. Your jewellery will quickly look as good as new again and returned to you in replacement gift packaging.
THEFT, LOSS & DAMAGE ASSISTANCE
Whilst most insurance policies should cover the loss and or damage of your fine jewellery, we are willing to provide you with any additional necessary documentation that may be required by your existing insurance company.
For loss or theft of your Ethica Diamond jewellery, please consult your insurance company in the first instance. However, should your insurer deny your claim, please contact us and we will do our best to help you through this process.

CARBON NEUTRAL DIAMONDS
JUST A DIAMOND, MINUS THE MINING
WHAT IS A DIAMOND?
Diamond is merely an allotrope of carbon that has a particular tetrahedral arrangement of carbon atoms, lending itself well to the strong and eternal material that it is. Mined diamonds from the earth and those made in a lab (pure lab grown diamonds) have the same structure and are completely identical, aesthetically and chemically.
Diamonds, however, are not rare, unlike they are perceived to be, and are not nearly as valuable as one may think. The cost of a diamond is artificially price fixed due to controlled supply and the extensive marketing diamonds have had over the years. If you ever tried to sell a diamond second-hand, or return a ring you bought from a jeweller, you would soon discover that the resale value of that stone would be considerably less, much like buying a new car from the forecourt and selling it a few months later. If diamonds were truly an investment and a genuinely valuable item, they would at least hold their value and increase in years to come, but they do not.
Diamond alternatives and diamond simulants are all created to mimic diamond. However, neither are intrinsically close enough in aesthetics or chemical composition to mined diamonds and many people seek something else and make a compromised purchasing decision based on reasons like budget or ethics. The reason for this is because the hunt for a credible alternative is usually a disappointing and exhausting quest.
