First up is undoubtedly our most popular engagement ring of 2021 – the beautiful Natalia.
The Natalia ring is a unique art deco inspired design, featuring a claw set round centre stone with baguette cut and round brilliant cut set shoulders. We added her to the website back in March last year and she’s becoming a firm favourite with customers. We’ve had some couples come in for an appointment knowing exactly what they want and once they see Natalia the original idea is out the window!
The lovely thing about Natalia is that she can be created with coloured stones too. We’ve seen a large rise in the amount of engagement rings being designed with a pop of colour (more often than not it seems to be the colour blue!).
One of the most popular rings, not just in 2021, but over many years has to be our Aesa. In fact, as I’m sat here writing this, I am wearing my Aesa engagement ring! I fell in love with the design as soon as I saw it when I first joined the team and found that nothing else compared.
Aesa is a beautifully feminine shoulder-set ring which is wonderfully flattering on the hand. I find the oval centre stone elongates and slims the finger (which is why I probably like the ring so much!).
Aesa is also available in a large carat size. We had a stunning 2.74 lab-grown diamond set into Aesa (pictured above, right) towards the end of last year and it looked incredible!
Another popular oval engagement ring is Poppy. A simple but devine solitaire set within a soft basket setting. Similar to the Aesa, the oval centre stones shape gives the illusion of elongated fingers which is extremely flattering, especially for people with shorter looking fingers.
It’s a beautifully classy ring that has a timeless decadent feel to it. We can certainly see why it’s become so popular!
2021 saw the rise of purchases in Halo rings. Originally known as cluster rings and dating back to the Georgian era, they then transitioned into the Victorian era with a new style which can still be seen today. An effortlessly timeless piece that can be passed down the generations for many years to come.
Elegant french pavé set stones in this Mia ring form a stunning elevated halo, surrounding the centre claw set lab grown gemstone in a ring of brilliant light. Dazzling gemstone accents adorn the court profile band and setting for a truly glamorous effect.
The final best seller of 2021 has to be Cyra. A firm favourite not just in 2021 but throughout all the years.
Featuring a beautiful basket setting on a simple thin 2.0mm band, Cyra is perfect for those who love the classic look.
Hope this list has helped any of you out there that are totally confused by all the different styles available within the engagement ring industry! Remember, 99% of the time the receiver will be overjoyed and it’ll mean more to them that you chose the style so don’t stress! And on the rare occasion that really don’t like it, we do offer a 30 day return policy (bespoke not included).
